What this degree describes
This is indulgence without apology, plenty enjoyed all the way past the point of restraint, and the degree refuses to scold anyone for it. Cancer's whole orientation is toward feeding and being fed, toward the table as the center of belonging, and this image takes that instinct to its most unguarded extreme: everyone at this table got exactly as much as they wanted, and no one is pretending otherwise. There's real permission in it, alongside a quieter question about what happens the next morning.
